Cockroaches all around my bed. Just wow. Believe me, I wasn't expecting a 5 stars hotel or anywhere near it, but cockroaches lurking in and around my bed... did not expect that. Couldn't sleep in the entire 9 hours journey. I wish that was the worst, but

Whoever the staff member is that sleeps at the very back of the bus was always coming to my bed to look in my cubicle and would stand there with a grin and I would tell him to leave and he would still stand there staring and smirking. I was armed though.

The ride was comfortable and on time. arriving at the border the guy that met us charged $55 for an ordinary visa. it should be $35. don’t let them rip you off. they are thieves.

Bus did not stop in the agreed place once in arrival in Bangkok.

Departed 1 hour late. Drove 5 mins around the corner whilst all passengers already on the bus had a full on sit down meal at a restaurant which lasted almost another hour. Stopped a million times for snacks/water/fuel. Changed to a van and arrived 2 hours
